The Railway
Come and vist our 8 1/4" gauge railway, the line lies alongside the river Itchen and its navigation with views across its meadows. Our loco Carolyn is thought to be the only of its gauge and was built in the 1924 and still going strong with the power to pull a full train of adults, yet small enough to delight the children. On your visit our friendly staff will always have time to talk about all aspects of the railway and future plans.Other Attractions
Brambridge Garden Centre next door is worth a visit, with The Country House restaurant. There are riverside walks alongside the Itchen and its navigation, also there is the nature trail which runs through the copse, then alongside the railway and back across the meadow finishing at the picnic area next to our station.
